CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting GHRH analogue built from a tetrasubstituted GRF(1-29) core plus a C-terminal lysine carrying a maleimidopropionyl drug-affinity-complex group. ZENTRA supplies it as high-purity lyophilised research material in a 5mg format.

The DAC group was designed to react with free thiol groups on circulating proteins such as albumin. This structure is chemically distinct from the 29-amino-acid material commonly sold as “CJC-1295 without DAC” or modified GRF(1-29).

CJC-1295 with DAC Research Context

The original development study examined albumin bioconjugation, GHRH-receptor activity and pharmacokinetics in rats, reporting prolonged detectability compared with unmodified GRF(1-29). A subsequent small randomized study in healthy adults examined pharmacokinetics and GH/IGF-I responses, estimating a multi-day half-life. Later experimental work investigated serum-protein changes after GH/IGF-1-axis activation.

These studies are limited and do not establish an approved use or long-term safety. They apply to the DAC compound and must not be presented as evidence for modified GRF(1-29) without DAC.
